What I want to impact through GloFit?

Greeting, I am Kohei the founder/ personal trainer of GloFit.


I established fitness service is called "GloFit" in 2024 at my home city Tokyo, Japan.

I will share my passion what I would do through GloFit.


Before I am talking about my passion, let me share changes of our life in past and present which influences us physically and mentally.

Included myself, I am really thankful to technology evolution to make our life easier. However, it's affecting us physically and mentally if we don't deal with it well. As result, there are issues such as

  • Increasing stress level, people conduct video call regularly are 14% more having stress than people meeting in person.

  • Smartphone affects our physical activity, mental health, ability of thinking, addiction of usage of smartphone, worsening relation with people etc.

  • Work from home→Less walking→ less physical activity→Cause of disease or stress.


WHO stated key factors of physical activity to make our life better as following.


  • Physical activity has significant health benefits for hearts, bodies and minds

  • Physical activity contributes to preventing and managing noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes

  • Physical activity reduces symptoms of depression and anxiety

  • Physical activity enhances thinking, learning, and judgment skills

  • Physical activity ensures healthy growth and development in young people

  • Physical activity improves overall well-being

  • Globally, 1 in 4 adults do not meet the global recommended levels of physical activity

  • People who are insufficiently active have a 20% to 30% increased risk of death compared to people who are sufficiently active

  • More than 80% of the world's adolescent population is insufficiently physically active


Simply speaking, we all understand that physical activity is essential activity for every human, NO EXCEPTION.

In order to make healthy lifestyle, individuals needs plan well and should be aware of followings.

Caring health is long term and has to be sustainable, so each individuals must have own lifestyle that suits to them. However it is not easy to plan and understanding of principals in exercise, nutritions and sleeps. And toughest part is to continue.


This is why I started "GloFit in order to help individuals.

Honestly it is super easy to change individual in few months by giving super strict plan, but it is temporary solution and individual goes back to normal routine what used to be after finishing strict plan.

Therefore GloFit helps individuals to have sustainable healthy lifestyle that works for each individuals by utilizing years of experience, learning and failures we made.


Lastly, we would help multinational clients. Recently, Japan has been welcoming more and more foreigners due to lack of labor shortage, and I as Japanese very thankful to contributing to my home country Japan. However, it often happens that many services or products are targeted local Japanese mainly due to the market size which is exactly happening fitness/ healthy industry in Japan as well. In order to help individual to seek happiness in their life, we GloFit exists.
